I rarely go to casinos because the odds are against you, but I can afford to lose 20 every now and then. If you're not expecting the Ritz, you'll be fine, and if U2 is going to be there that would be a good choice. Games did not seem to be paying out, the atmosphere was not a good time. After staying at the Venetian my friend and I have decided that that's the one we'll most likely stick to (or the Bellagio or Wynn if the comps come through, two other hotels we've stayed at). Would I stay there again? Maybe, but probably one and done. The 'pros' is that the workers were exceptionally nice and helpful, the casino is small enough to be fun yet manageable, and plenty of places to eat, It's walkable to other casinos and has a inside tram. The hallways are dark and the carpet in them is stained.
The cons: I wasn't impressed with the room, it was small, the couch was horribly uncomfortable, dated furniture and pictures, and as people have said, not much room to put your clothes in. The other 2 nights we stayed at the Venetian. We were just in a regular room, not a suite. and only paid about $150 total for 3 nights (I had to pay Resort Fees and tax).
